Good quote: "You don't have to go fast. You just have to go."

This man is amazing - walked the entire full marathon with a walker! He must have finished 15 to 20 minutes before I did.

Good quote: "Dead last is greater than 'did not finish' which trips 'did not start'".

Good quote: "Don't start when you are tired. Stop when you are done."

"You made it to the start. You'll make it tot he finish."

Approaching Royal Canadian Mint again.

Whitby International Marathon: Photo Race Report

Photo Race Report: Whitby International Marathon

Full/ultra marathon #59

A small race of 45 full marathoners... rain and wind. First 2 K particularly tough as my ears were cold. Had to deal with puddles of water.

Slightly after 3 K

Scenic...

11 K

There were hills... walked up them. Approaching the turnaround in which the 21.1 K route is run twice for the full marathon distance. I actually like that since you know what to anticipate.

A rabbit!

3/4 done. Turnaround for the final 10.5 K

View of Lake Ontario

Finish line in sight!

Wow - photos posted this evening!
